No. The subject is detected automatically and the background around it is removed. Nothing is repainted, recoloured, or regenerated, so if the edges around hair or glass look off, try a photo with more contrast between the subject and its background.

Ask in the same chat once the cutout comes back. Replacing the background is an image edit, a separate step from removal, and it uses credits too.
