What you get
- Text in the chatCopy it wherever you need it. Keep chatting to adjust the tone, length, or wording.
How it works
- Give the job title, the hiring manager's notes, an old posting to refresh, or a team plan.
- askROI's Write a job description tool scopes the role, writes the posting in the chat, checks its language, and lists the fixes and placeholders for the hiring manager.
- Paste the posting into your job board, ask for it as a Word document, or keep chatting to change the scope or the tone.
What people use it for
- New rolessettle why the role exists, its first-year outcomes, and its level before the posting is written.
- Stale postingsrefresh an old posting with a plain market title and a shorter list of real requirements.
- Inclusive hiringtake out coded or gendered words, age signals, ability assumptions, and degrees the work does not need.
- Pay rangesget a pay range line to fill in, and a note when the role's location requires the range in the posting.
Questions
- What is in the posting?
- A plain market title, a short summary of the role, five to eight responsibilities, up to six must-have and four nice-to-have requirements, the level and pay, location and schedule, and how to apply, in under about 700 words. After it comes a list for the hiring manager: the scope notes, each language fix, and the placeholders left to fill.
- Does it make up details about our company?
- No. Your company's name, mission, size, benefits, and pay stay as placeholders unless you give them. Share an old posting or your benefits summary and it uses that instead.
- What does the language check look for?
- Coded or gendered words such as "rockstar" or "ninja", age signals such as "digital native", physical requirements the job does not need, inflated degree or years-of-experience requirements, and insider culture phrases. It fixes each one in the posting and lists the original phrase next to the change.
- Does it know pay transparency rules?
- When the role is in a place that requires a pay range in the posting or before interviews, such as many US states and cities, some Canadian provinces, and the EU, it says so in one line and asks you to confirm the local rule. It is not legal advice.
- Can I get it as a Word document?
- Yes. Ask for a file and askROI builds the posting as a Word document. By default the posting comes in the chat, ready to paste into a job board.
- What does it not do?
- It does not write offer letters or interview questions, and it does not post to job boards. Use the AI Offer Letter Generator for the offer and the AI Interview Question Generator for the interview kit.
