AI Travel Itinerary Generator

Give askROI the destination, the dates, and how you like to travel. Get back a printable day by day itinerary as a PDF, with a budget table at the end.

What you get

a PDF you can download. It also lands in your Library as an artifact you can revise, share with a link, and pick up again in another chat.

Examples to start from

  • City break: Plan a printable travel itinerary as a PDF for four days in Lisbon next June. Relaxed pace, food and architecture, two of us, flight lands at 10:40 on day one, hotel booked in Alfama, budget 600 euros excluding flights.
  • Road trip: Plan a printable travel itinerary as a PDF for a four day drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles on Highway 1 next autumn. Moderate pace, no more than four hours of driving a day, overlooks and small towns, budget 1,200 dollars.
  • Family week: Plan a printable travel itinerary as a PDF for a week in Tokyo next summer with two children aged 6 and 9. Slow mornings, one main outing a day, parks and museums, hotel booked near Shinjuku station, budget 2,000 dollars for food and activities.
  • Weekend with bookings: Plan a printable travel itinerary as a PDF for a Friday to Sunday weekend in Edinburgh next spring. Train arrives 14:05 Friday, reference KX7Y2Q. Castle tickets Saturday 10:00, dinner at The Witchery 19:30. Fill gaps with walks, budget 300 pounds.

How it works

  1. Give askROI the destination, the dates, your pace and interests, and any bookings you already hold.
  2. It lays out one section per day, each stop with its time and the travel time to the next, keeps the addresses and references from your bookings, adds a budget table at the end, and builds the PDF.
  3. Print it or keep it on your phone, or ask to swap a stop, slow the pace, or move money between days.

What people use it for

  • City breaks: a day by day plan for a long weekend that fits the hours you actually have.
  • Road trips: stops in driving order with travel times, so each day ends where the next begins.
  • Family holidays: a slower pace with free time marked, built around the bookings you already hold.
  • Group trips: one printable plan everyone carries, with the costs totalled at the end.

Questions

Is the AI travel itinerary generator free?
Yes. You can plan itineraries on the free plan. Paid plans raise the usage limits and include more credits for Premium mode.
What does the itinerary contain?
One section per day with the date as its heading, each stop listed in time order with its time, name, the travel time to the next stop, and the address and booking reference for the bookings you gave it. Stops it suggests are marked as suggestions without an invented address. A budget table at the end lists each item with an estimated cost and a total. Long trips start each day on a fresh page so you can carry a single day on its own.
Will it book anything or invent bookings?
No. It includes only the bookings and addresses you give it and marks everything else as a suggestion, so you can see at a glance what is confirmed and what is still an idea. Look up the address of a suggested stop before you set out.
Can I change the pace or a single day?
Yes. Tell askROI the pace you want and it keeps to it, leaving explicit free time rather than packing the days. Ask to swap a stop, move a day, or shorten the trip and it rebuilds the PDF.
Does it know opening hours and prices?
Costs in the budget table are estimates, and anything that did not come from your bookings is marked as a suggestion. Check opening hours and prices with the venue before you rely on a stop.
